BRANDING

Brands Built With Purpose

Brand identities and messaging systems developed to help mission-driven organizations show up with clarity, consistency, and confidence. This work brings visual identity, voice, and strategy together to reflect the mission, connect with the right audiences, and create a stronger foundation for meaningful growth.

Healing Action Network

Project Background

Healing Action Network fosters safety, healing, and recovery with survivors of trafficking and exploitation. The organization works toward a vision of a community free from exploitation and fulfills its mission through three distinct programs: Center for Survivors, CATE, and Volunteer Service Link.

The brand work included three connected identity projects: refreshing the Healing Action Network logo for its 10th anniversary, creating a program identity for Center for Survivors, and creating a logo for Volunteer Service Link, Healing Action Network’s AmeriCorps/VISTA-related service program. The goal was to create a cohesive visual family that reflected the organization’s shared mission while giving each program enough distinction to communicate its own purpose, audience, and role within the network.

Near Southside Employment Coalition

Project Background

Near Southside Employment Coalition, or NSEC, is a nonprofit employment and training agency in St. Louis dedicated to helping people become self-sufficient through long-term employment. Its mission is to equip job seekers with quality training, connection to resources, and access to opportunities necessary to obtain employment leading to stable lives.

As part of its organizational launch and brand development, NSEC needed a visual identity that could communicate credibility, inspire trust, and connect with multiple audiences, including job seekers, employers, community partners, funders, volunteers, and neighborhood stakeholders. The brand needed to feel professional and accessible while reflecting the organization’s role as a connector between people, training, resources, and sustainable employment.

Missouri Coalition Against Trafficking & Exploitation

Project Background

Empowering Through Action was developed as the visual identity for a two-day anti-trafficking summit convened through the Missouri Coalition Against Trafficking and Exploitation, or CATE. CATE is a statewide coalition focused on preventing and responding to human trafficking and exploitation, serving as a central resource for anti-trafficking service organizations and an education hub for communities across Missouri. The coalition’s mission is “a united community movement to prevent and respond to trafficking and exploitation,” and its vision is a community that is educated, aware, and supportive.

The summit's purpose is to bring together providers, advocates, community leaders, and multidisciplinary partners working to strengthen Missouri’s response to trafficking and exploitation. The logo needed to communicate empowerment, statewide collaboration, survivor-centered learning, and the movement from awareness into meaningful action.
